Congratulations to our TY ‘Hug Your Plug’ team of Shauna Lyons, Katie Ronayne, Ellen Phillips and Michelle Grogan who finished 3rd in the Mayo Enterprise Awards held at Breaffy House today. Thanks to Mrs Osgood for all her help in mentoring the team.
BCS TY students gave an audio visual display of the various projects that they’re involved with in their parishes. 10 post-primary schools from the Archdiocese took part in the day that was held in the Rest & Care Centre, Knock. Congratulations to all of our students who competed at the Connaught Table-Tennis Championships held in Breaffy House Hotel recently. Our U-13 girls team of Helena Cala, Arooj Azhar, Emily Sharman, Kyah Legg, Mirady Kabonogo, Deirbhile Boland and Rachel Denning led the way by winning the Connaught Title. We had plenty of success on the day bringing home medals in all categories. Well done to all involved. Special thanks to Mr Ryan and Mr Quinn who coached the teams throughout the year.
