𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐳

The 3rd Annual Anne Grogan First Year Girls Memorial Blitz took place on Wednesday May 10th. Eight teams from Ballyhaunis, Balla, Dunmore, Merlin College, Mercy Tuam, Salerno and Presentation Headford all took part on the day. Despite the inclement weather conditions, the day was filled with joy, laughter, fun and excitement. A fitting tribute to Anne’s wonderful spirit. Many thanks to members of the Keane and Grogan families who came to mark the occasion by presenting the Shield to Balla Secondary School and the Cup to this year’s overall winners, Presentation College, Headford. Special thanks to Kirsty Phillips, Siobhan Garvey and Ray Woolley for organising this wonderful event. Thanks also to the TY Future Leaders class for running the event. On the day they were our referees, linesmen, umpires, performance analysts, shopkeepers, security guards, photographers and event managers to name but a few roles. Ava Padfield was the event photographer.
