BCS was delighted to welcome Michael and Niall from Ward and Burke Construction Ltd. to speak to our senior cycle students today about careers in construction and engineering.

Niall spoke of his journey as an apprentice with the company and how his work experience with the company changed his career direction from going to university to training as an apprentice.

Michael also delivered a comprehensive talk to students about career options within this sector, and also about the skills, aptitudes and drive needed to succeed. It was great for students to hear about these opportunities from the perspective of an apprentice and employer. We look forward to welcoming both Michael and Niall back again in the future to speak to our students.
