𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Congratulations to our TY students who had the honour of representing BCS at the European Mock Parliament recently. The European Mock Parliament is an initiative of the European Commission here in Ireland that allows young people to engage in a simulation of a debate of the European Parliament. This year’s topic was ‘Climate Change’ and the students involved, Iqra Tahir Mahmood, Jovana Drobic, Sophia Marques and Speakers Aisha Ashu Egbe and Ava Brennan all learned a lot about Europe’s approach to climate change and how the European Parliament resolves differences among members and tries to find consensus across the EU bloc to create laws and regulations.
