On Thursday 2nd May BCS had our annual Intercultural Day which is the highlight of Diversity week. BCS is privileged to have 44 different cultures in our student community. The gym was transformed into a carnival of colour as students representing their cultures shared stories, food, history, and music with the whole school community. Transition year students ensured the day ran smoothly as they organised, collected classes, and acted as tour guides throughout the day. Traditional dress and national jerseys replaced uniforms and students from every culture danced and celebrated their unique traditions with pride. This special day in our school calendar really captures the ethos of our school and embraces our school motto: ‘Unity in Diversity.’ A huge thank you to Ms. Murray and her team for organising this spectacular event.
