Mr Mitchell’s Senior Boys Footballers snatched victory from the jaws of defeat today in what was a war of attrition in the Centre of Excellence.

Underfoot conditions were challenging and it had an impact on the quality of football produced by both side. Ballyhaunis found themselves down by two points with 3 minutes to go, but they did not give in and brilliant combined team effort led to a turnover. Kian Burke found himself one on one with the goalkeeper and made no mistake, slotting it into the net. BCS held firm in the final moments to clinch a hard fought victory.
