On Wednesday afternoon the Senior Footballers had a tough assignment as they travelled to Strokestown to play Scoil Mhuire.
After a good start by BCS, Strokestown finally found their footing in the game and showed why they are one of the favourites for the Championship by producing a clinical first half display, leaving them 8 points clear into the half time break.
Our lads never threw in the towel and gave every last effort to keep in the game but it wasn’t to be. Each player who took to the pitch can be proud of their efforts. This is a young squad and many of these players will be eligible again next year, the future is bright! Many thanks to Mr Mitchell and his assistants for all their hard work throughout the year.
