Donal Walsh was a young Kerry teenager who gave great hope and inspiration to countless young people before dying from cancer in 2013.

Well done to our 1st and 2nd year Boys Basketball teams who both had good wins today against Ballinrobe CS.

Over the past week TY students and their Geography teacher Ms. Varden were busy fundraising for #letsmakeithappen, a campaign organised by Ms. Nicole Loughlin.  Nicole is fundraising to build a two classroom post primary school in Malawi.

Transition Year students took part in three Amnesty International workshops on ‘Stories of refugees’ and ‘Stories of welcome’.

Our TY students are organising a Christmas ‘Jumper day’ on Friday December 21st. All proceeds will go to the Galway Simon Community.

Brilliant news from the recent Irish Schools Athletics meet in Glasgow recently.

Unfortunately, we have had to make some alterations to our School Calendar.

Semester 1 exams start on Tuesday 13th November.

Congratulations to Mr Ginty’s 1st and 2nd Year Boys Basketball teams who both had their second victory in quick succession on Monday. 1st Years defeated St. Brendan’s, Belmullet 17-14 while 2nd Years defeated St. Coleman’s, Claremorris 15-12.
