Connaught Senior Football Champions!

After a 16 year wait Ballyhaunis Community School having finally won a competitive Senior Schools Final. A game which could be best described as a game of 2 halves saw Ballyhaunis lead by 14 points at half time but Glenamaddy proved why they were in the final with a very spirited second half. In perfect condition in Bekan the last 10 minutes proved crucial. With a 1 point lead Ballyhaunis CS had to call on all reserves to close out a game which they dominated. Final score 2:14 to 3:7. Huge congratulations must go to the players and manager Mr Woolley for their huge commitment throughout the season.
