On Tuesday 10th of October Transition Year students visited Brigit’s Gardens in Moycullen as part of their Development Education module. As part of a simulation exercise students were brought on a journey around the gardens where they met various challenges linked to the Global Goals. From using a hand cranking device to charge a phone to making a ‘tippy tap’ for clean water everyone became more aware of the problems that exist in our world today. This interesting workshop was inspiring for our own projects linked to The Global Goals .
Thanks to Mrs Murray and Ms Carty for all their help on the trip.
