Well done to all the schools and teams that took part in the inaugural First Year Girls Gaelic Football blitz held in Ballyhaunis GAA grounds on Wednesdays May 1st.

Congratulations to our U-13 and U-15 Girls table tennis teams on their magnificent performances at the recent All-Ireland finals held at the National indoor arena in Abbottstown.

Congratulations to 2nd Year student Clayton Nolan, who recently won the All-Ireland U-13 74kg Boxing Championships.

Our TY students cycled to Knock and back today for the annual Cycle Against Suicide ride.

The annual 1st Year “Big Skip Off “took place at BCS on the 9th April. The aim of the event is to find the fastest boy and girl skipper in first year.

On Saturday March 30th from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm millions of people around the planet will take part in Earth Hour by turning off non-essential lights for one hour.

Donal Walsh was a young Kerry teenager who gave great hope and inspiration to countless young people before dying from cancer in 2013.
